Bigbite Video Production

I specialize in documentary-style filmmaking and cinematography, with over a decade of experience as a Sociologist conducting ethnographic field research. I also create fictional pieces and, in addition to cinematography and art direction for film, bring experience in commercial graphic design, costuming, fine arts and live theater.


The broader Bigbite Productions team brings extensive experience in writing, directing, and other film crew work, and we can work solo or as a full crew to create many types of projects. On many projects, I collaborate with Matt Sloan and Aaron Yonda of Blame Society Productions to offer full service production of comedy content - from 30 second ad spots to short films or other types of presentations. Blame Society is a well-known comedy team with an established fan base:

  • Visit their website for hours of entertaining online videos.
  • Their comedy shorts and episodic series have over 73 million views on YouTube, Blip.tv, Babelgum and other web platforms; they have 157,000 YouTube subscribers and 8,000 MySpace friends.
  • The Chad Vader: Day Shift Manager series has received over 35 million web views. It has received featured articles in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, TV Week Magazine, Chicago Sun Times, Washington Post and The Metro (UK), among others. It has also been featured or profiled on VH-1, ABC’s Good Morning America, BBC News online, G4 Tech TV and Spike TV. Chad Vader won the 2007 “George Lucas Selects” award from the 2007 Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge.
  • Aaron and Matt were the keynote speakers at the 2008 Erma Bombeck Writing Conference for humor writers (Dayton, OH).
  • Blame Society Productions has made convention appearances (including the massive “Fan Expo” in Toronto) and has been invited to attend ComiCon, ROFLcon and others.

    • Bigbite's post-production options include editing, DVD design and authoring, and the creation of multimedia presentations.
